MOSSLEY edged through to the second round of the Manchester Premier Cup after beating FC United of Manchester 2-1 at Seel Park.
Harry Noon broke the deadlock after 19 minutes, only for Stephen Torpey to equalise two minutes after the interval. But Noon struck again, with seven minutes remaining, to clinch victory.
OLDHAM Boro’s first round home tie against Salford City was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
