CHADDERTON Park are on the right track after bagging the Metrolink team of the month award.
It comes months after the club received the Manchester FA fair play gong for their dedication to the Respect campaign.
In a similar vein, this latest honour was a nod to the good behaviour of players and coaches, which has earned widespread praise from league officials.
Chairman Frank Nolan said: “The club is delighted with being awarded the Metrolink team of the month for October.
“Like many other clubs, our coaches, parents and volunteers have worked so hard to get us to this stage of our development and with our new club house opening in 2010 and winning Manchester FA's fair play award in 2011 for the second year in succession, this award is the icing on the cake.
“Win, lose or draw, we will continue to promote everything that is good about the grassroots game and develop our club for the benefit of the many kids that love playing the game in the area."
Philip Purdy, Transport for Greater Manchester’s Metrolink director, added: “Well done to Chadderton Park.
“They have a positive attitude to the game and are a wonderful example to others, so this is very much deserved.”
