Own goal saves Uppermill

HUDDERSFIELD LEAGUE
UPPERMILL hit back to claim a 2-2 draw against Britannia Sports at Greenfield Paper Mill in the Huddersfield and District League Division One.
The hosts fell behind after a shaky half-hour. Andrew Cooney conceded a free-kick 25 yards out and it was duly curled past Tom Bagshaw into the bottom corner.

And Simon Tait’s side conceded again before half-time.
Uppermill reduced the deficit 10 minutes after the restart thanks to a Dave Taylor volley.
Just when the home outfit feared they had run out of ideas, the equaliser arrived with 10 minutes left.
Murray Hill whipped in a corner and a Britannia defender headed into his own net.
Diggle went down to a 2-0 loss against Hepworth United.
Heyside earned a 2-2 draw at Skelmanthorpe in Division Two.
James Leonard and Kane Lees were on target for the visitors.
In Reserves Division Two Heyside saw off Skelmanthorpe 5-3 through a Jake Warburton hat-trick and two goals from Steven Partington.
