Trio out for Boro

NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: OLDHAM Boro will be without three first-team regulars when they entertain Salford City tonight in the Manchester Premier Cup first round (7.45pm kick-off).
Darren Scanlon and Tim Buxton were not registered in time to participate, while Redmond Parker is suspended.
Boro lost 5-2 at home to Rochdale Town in the Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One at the weekend and boss Tony Mills said: “We will have to be at our best against Salford.
“I want to see some improvement because we were our own worst enemy in the last game — the passing was so sloppy.”
