NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL:
CHADDERTON and Oldham Boro are in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One Trophy action tomorrow.
The second round of the competition sees Chadderton, in ninth, play host to second-bottom Cheadle Town — the tie has been switched to Broadway because of floodlight problems at Cheadle — while 11th-placed Boro go to Leek CSOB, who are directly below them in the standings.
Both teams are on the comeback trail after experiencing defeats in the league last time out.
Chadderton were beaten 2-1 at home to Wigan Robin Park, despite a wonder goal from Ben Fletcher, who put Paul Buckley’s side ahead from inside his own half.
Boro succumbed to a second-half penalty as they lost 1-0 at home to Atherton Collieries.
MOSSLEY, without a win in any competition since October 18, play host to Wakefield in Evo-Stik League Division One North tomorrow.
Gareth McClelland’s side have slipped to 16th in the table, one place below their opponents but on the same number of points. The Lilywhites have lost four matches — the other three were drawn — since defeating FC United in the Manchester Premier Cup.
