SNOOKER:
WITH his side, Three Cs ‘B’, 2-1 up on Blue Club ‘A’ in the Pet Au Purrs Oldham Amateur Snooker League, Paul Durr regained his form of old.
Durr’s 53 break gave him command of the fourth frame and his winning margin of 123–29 guaranteed the aggregate point for Three Cs, who went on to win 4-2.
G Hills made a break of 32 as High Crompton swept aside Nimble Nook 5-1.
Moss Inn’s 6-0 whitewash of Little Cot ‘B’ has catapulted them to the top of the table as last week’s top two sides, Springbank ‘A’ and Little Cot ‘A’, were unable to record victories.
MOSS Inn recorded an impressive 5-1 win at Cartshaft in the Saw-Tech Shaw Snooker League.
But leaders Tara Leisure, who won 4-2 at Royton Cons ‘A’, are seven points clear at the top.
