Harriers have a hole lot of fun

CROSS COUNTRY:
OLDHAM and Royton Harriers defied muddy conditions to record a clutch of impressive results in round three of the South-East Lancashire Cross-Country League at Boggart Hole Clough, Blackley.
Ethan Glasgow-Lattibeaudliere got the club off to a flying start and also set an excellent example by winning the under-11 boys’ race in five minutes 17 seconds. The youngster’s performance inspired the team to victory.
Jake Holt ran well to claim sixth place (5:59), with Callum Atkinson seventh in 6:03 and Ashley Jones 11th in 6:07. In the under-11 girls’ event, Sophie Hall crossed the line in a superb second place in 6:16, followed by Molly Healey seventh in 6:31, Eve Darraugh 19th (7:15), Lorna Holt 20th (7:22) and Ellise Taylor 22nd (8:56). The team were second overall.
