‘New’ are streets ahead

BOWLS:
CHAMPIONS elect New Street showed no mercy to Dogwood in the ‘B’ Division of the Inbev Winter Bowling League at Chadderton Cot.
They made it 12 wins from as many matches with an 11-0 whitewash of their rivals.
Stalybridge turned the form book upside down to beat higher-placed Prestwich 9-2, while Vixens defeated Failsworth 6-5 in a match just as tight as the league table suggested it would be.
There was no play in the ‘A’ Division because of snow.
