NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY face the daunting task of travelling to neighbours Curzon Ashton on Monday in Evo-Stik League Division One North, knowing their hosts are yet to lose on home soil this term.

Curzon are enjoying a superb season which has seen them beaten just once in 21 outings.

They are two points clear ofnearest challengers Skelmersdale United, on whom they have four games in hand.

Mossley, on the other hand, have been consistent in theirinconsistency and occupy 14th position in the table.

Following a 4-0 home drubbing by Curzon at the end of August, Lilywhites boss Gareth McClelland will be determined to take something from his former club when they meet at the Tameside Stadium.

CHADDERTON hit the road to table-topping Abbey Hey on Monday in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.
Abbey Hey are level on points with Wigan Robin Park, but boast a superior goal difference and have three games in hand on their title rivals.

Paul Buckley’s Chadderton outfit, who drew 0-0 with rivals Oldham Boro last time out, are eighth in the table and can jump to sixth courtesy of a victory and other results going their way.

Club secretary Dave Shepherd confirmed Chadderton have a full quota of players from which to choose, with no injuries or suspensions hampering Buckley.

OLDHAM Boro have no game over the New Year weekend.
