Mossley spin-off for fans

ATHLETIC fans who go to Anfield tomorrow can watch Mossley versus Farsley on Saturday for half-price.
The Evo-Stik League Division One North outfit are looking to generate interest in their club and are always on the look-out for new supporters.
Secretary Harry Hulmes said: “We would like to wish Oldham Athletic good luck in their FA Cup-tie at Liverpool.
“As a gesture of friendship we would like to offer Latics fans going to Anfield half-price entry to our match the following day, at home to Farsley FC.
“Just show your Oldham Athletic season ticket or your stub from Anfield to claim the offer (£4 for adults, £2.50 concessions).”
The Lilywhites, 15th in the table, earned a highly-impressive 3-3 draw at leaders Curzon Ashton last time out.
They face another tough test on Saturday — Farsley occupy fourth position, just four points off the summit.
Hulmes added: “It should be a good game. We have been up and down this season because at the start of the campaign it was a brand new group of players.
“But slowly, but surely we are getting there and the performance at Curzon was excellent.
“I would like to think quite a few Latics fans will join us at Seel Park this weekend.
“A lot of their supporters are generally football enthusiasts and we want to give them their Saturday fix!”
