Home sweet home for Lovegreen’s boys
Date published: 06 January 2012
RUGBY: OLDHAM firsts return to North Lancashire Division One action tomorrow with a home match against Garstang (2.15pm kick-off).
And Guy Lovegreen’s side, who sit mid-table with sevens from 14 games, have revenge on their minds.
Extra weight and experience of the Garstang pack was crucial as Oldham suffered a 21-12 defeat in the reverse fixture.
But the surroundings of Manor Park will play to Oldham’s strengths and they are sure to utilise the extra space.
John Farrell is back for the hosts, but Mike Crouch is unavailable.
Meanwhile, Oldham’s fixture against MV Trafford, postponed on December 10, will be played at Manor Park on Saturday, January 21.
