NOWHERE TO GO . . . Jay Molloy, of Fitton Hill Bulldogs, runs into the Leigh East defence.
RUGBY: FITTON Hill Bulldogs went down to a 24-0 defeat at the hands of Leigh East in North-West Counties League Division Four.
In action for the first time in seven weeks due to adverse weather conditions and the festive break, Fitton Hill looked rusty from the off.
Their attack play fell short and they kept losing possession in the tackle, although the defence stood up to their powerful
opponents throughout the contest.
In this department Christopher Regan stood out with a fantastic display, with Joe Tindall and Josh Hulme also putting in impressive shifts.
Bulldogs, who are still looking for a first league win of the season, entertain Ashton Bears ‘A’ on Saturday.
