BOWLS:
SPRINGBANK kept alive their Inbev Winter Bowling League ‘A’ Division title hopes with a 9-2 defeat of Springhead Rovers.
The margin of victory enabled them to pull back another point on leaders Waterloo and Taunton, who beat Nimble Nook 8-3. New Street clinched the ‘B’ Division title with an 8-3 victory over Stalybridge.
