RADCLYFFE Arms enjoyed a 6-2 win over Limeside Athletic in the D & J Builders (North-West) Ltd Oldham Sunday League Challenge Cup second round.
Michael McNeil bagged a brace and was joined on the scoresheet by Mark Terris, Michael McElvaney and Phillip Edge.
Shaun Lowther and Coby Tyrell replied for the visitors.
In the Manchester County Cup quarter-finals Chaddy End and Rifle Range Reds ‘A’ were in action and they enjoyed mixed fortunes — see Page 38 for more details).

The victory lifted Uppermill to second in the table, albeit nine points adrift of runaway leaders Hepworth United.

Heyside reserves exited the Manchester FA Amateur Cup at the quarter-finals stage following a 5-1 loss to North Walkden, of the Lancashire Amateur League.

AFC OLDHAM climbed to fourth place in the Lancashire and Cheshire League Premier Division courtesy of a 4-0 victory over Chorltonians.
They find themselves just four points behind leaders Spurley Hey, although AFC Oldham have played three games more than the team at the summit.
Division Three action saw Oldham Victoria succumb 4-0 at Whitworth Park.
