Non-league football:

CHADDERTON enjoyed a 3-1 home win at the expense of Leek CSOB in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.

Matthew Landregan, making his debut after a spell at Congleton, converted a second-minute penalty after Shaun Nolan had been felled in the box.

Mark Fox restored parity for Leek after an hour, but Ben Fletcher put Chadderton back in front seven minutes later when he headed in Shaun Roscoe’s cross.

And Landregan sealed the victory with another penalty five minutes later, following a foul on Danny Shaw.

Chadderton manager Paul Buckley said: “It was a good result and I am delighted for Matthew.

“You could not ask for much more on a player’s debut.”

MOSSLEY were pegged back to a 1-1 draw at home to Harrogate Railway Athletic in the Evo-Stik League Division One North.

Target man Tom Denton nodded home Nathan Neequaye’s right-wing cross with 15 minutes on the clock.

The Lilywhites spurned several clearcut chances as they looked to extend their lead and it proved costly.

Just after the hour mark Denton handled Liam Gray’s shot and Jon Maloney tucked away the resultant penalty for the away outfit.

Mossley boss Steve Halford said: “It was a bit disappointing in the end because we played well and created plenty of chances, but could not put them away.

“We were guilty of missing several good opportunities and 1-0 is always a dangerous scoreline.

“You want to put it to bed but they came back into it and got the goal.

“We pressed for a winner late on, but couldn’t make it happen.”

OLDHAM Boro did not play at the weekend.
