Oldham seeking revenge

RUGBY UNION: OLDHAM RU firsts will be itching to build on last weekend’s victory over Birchfield in North Lancashire Division One tomorrow (3pm).

They play host to St Edwards, who are eyeing a double over their opponents.

Oldham lost the reverse fixture 20-10 when they were outplayed in the forwards, but Guy Lovegreen’s pack men have improved since then.

Former captain Chris Heptonstall will replace Dean McEwan — sent off last Saturday — at prop for Oldham.

Sean Garrett, Stephen Hastings and Jack Hawkins return to the squad, but Will Mellor is unavailable
