Watkinson starts rout as ‘B’ team suffer the blues

THREE Cs ‘A’ completed a whitewash of Blue Club ‘B’ in the Pet Au Purrs Oldham Amateur Snooker League.

P Watkinson got the ball rolling before C Tanahill, G Brophy, T Shephard and A Mellor followed suit.

Moss Inn are seven points behind leaders Little Cot ‘A’ after beating Springbank ‘A’ 4-2.

A delegates meeting will be held on Sunday (12.30pm) at Chadderton Reform Club.

All knock-out results are to be handed to Craig Hall before this meeting.



YORKSHIRE Ward 2 moved to the top of the Saddleworth Snooker League after they completed a whitewash of Austerlands 1.

Mossley 2 went into third with a 4-2 win over Greenfield 1, D Bramall taking the final frame to clinch the aggregate.
