NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: IN-FORM Oldham Boro go into tomorrow’s North-West Counties League Division One trip to Daisy Hill without skipper Andy Smith.
The captain has been ruled out for six weeks after injuring his knee in a Sunday football match.
Boro are 12th in the table and unbeaten in eight league games. They are two places and a couple of points behind tomorrow’s opponents, but have five games in hand.
Manager Tony Mills said: “It should be a pretty tight match, but we are doing well at the moment and are full of confidence.
“We picked up a point at Norton in the week and in my opinion they are going to win the title, so that shows the kind of form we are in.”
MARK Rogers is pushing for his Mossley debut when they travel to Prescot Cables in Evo-Stik League Division One tomorrow.
The centre-half was an unused substitute in the 3-2 victory over Ossett Town last time out, having received international clearance following his switch from Australian side ECU Joondalup.
Meanwhile, striker Danny Hudson’s loan spell from Bury has been extended until March 21.
CHADDERTON entertain Formby in NWCL Division One and will be confident of picking up maximum points.
Paul Buckley’s lads occupy sixth position in the table, way ahead of 14th-placed Formby.
Chadderton can climb to fourth if they win and Irlam and Rochdale Town slip up.
