TABLE TENNIS:
WITH just one scheduled week of the Oldham Table Tennis League campaign to go, most promotion and relegation issues have been resolved.
In Division One, Glodwick clinched the title for the sixth consecutive season and Saddleworth Cricket Club ‘A’ need just two points from their remaining game at Glodwick ‘B’ to finish runners-up for the first time.
At the other end of the table, Hollinwood ‘C’ have been relegated, while the second relegation spot is between Rosehill and Hollinwood ‘B’.
The latter are five points ahead of their nearest rivals, but have a tough final fixture against Werneth ‘A’.
Rosehill have games against Glodwick ‘B’ and Werneth ‘B’ to save themselves from the drop.
