RUGBY:
OLDHAM RL Club and the local community game joined forces at Whitebank to promote a new Oldham and Tameside Service Area touch rugby competition, starting on April 18 at Oldham St Anne's.
Young players from the Roughyeds' scholarship squad (under-18s) demonstrated the non-contact brand of the sport. The contest will be open to anyone 16 or over who wants to form a team.
The Service Area will start to take entries in the next few days
