NETBALL:
OLDHAM went down to a 56-36 defeat at Trafford in the Northern League.
The away outfit started brightly and looked like keeping pace with their rivals, but were 11-8 down at the end of the first quarter, and 25-15 at the interval.
The visitors failed to close the gap in the second half and Trafford extended their lead.
