NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL:
MOSSLEY go into tomorrow’s Evo-Stik League Division One North trip to Farsley feeling fresh — and frustrated.
The Lilywhites’ Manchester Premier Cup final against Droylsden on Monday was postponed due to the Bloods failing to raise a team. So while Steve Halford’s side will be high on energy, they have also been left wondering when and where the final will go ahead — Hyde FC were the intended hosts.
Mossley secretary Harry Hulmes explained: “We are waiting to hear from the Manchester FA but it has been a very frustrating week.”
DEFENDER Jamie Mack is set to make his first start for Oldham Boro against Formby in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.
It counts as a home match for Boro, but it will take place at Atherton Collieries due to Oldham RL Club making use of the pitch 24 hours later.
Chadderton entertain Northwich Villa, who occupy 15th position in NWCL Division One.
Paul Buckley’s side can climb as high as sixth if they win and other results go their way.
