YOUTH will be a feature of the Oldham St Anne’s side who face Rochdale Mayfield in National Conference League Division One tomorrow (noon kick-off).
Coach Chris Deakin will name four under-18s for the Good Friday clash at Higginshaw Road.
Aussie full-back Ged Roods, hooker Jordan White and No.6 Nathan Jewitt will be joined by recent signing Jordan Hanley as St Anne’s target a first win of the season.
Deakin is mulling over a place on the wing for Hanley, who has played for Higginshaw and was a member of the Oldham RL’s scholarship scheme.
Hanley scored a hat-trick of tries for Saints ‘A’ in their 4024 defeat of Thatto Heath last weekend.
Full-back John Fox (family commitments) and half-back Lee Fozzard will sit out the derby match.
Fozzard could be out for up to three weeks after going over on his ankle against Bradford Dudley Hill last Saturday. Saints and Mayfield met in this year’s Standard Cup semi-final, with Matt Calland’s side emerging victorious.
OFFICIALS at Higginshaw Road are inviting former Oldham St Anne’s players to the Good Friday game.
