AVRO picked up four points in the space of five days — but it should have been a maximum of six according to manager Phil Brown.
They beat Prestwich Heys 3-2 on Wednesday night, with Gary Chadderton (two) and Daniel Grimshaw getting the goals.
Brown’s side were at home to Manchester Gregorians on Saturday, and were on course for victory after goals from James Hampson (two) and Phil Salt.
However, Gregs equalised with the last kick of the game.
