Date published: 06 April 2012
THE Oldham Sunday League and the Tameside Sunday League will go head-to-head in the final of the Manchester County FA Sunday Cup on Friday, April 13 at the Regional Athletics Stadium, Eastlands, (7pm).
Chaddy End’s 2-1 defeat of Middleton Colts in the semi-finals has set up the clash with Tameside Sunday League giants Langley Rangers, who overcame OSL side, Rifle Range ‘A’ in the other semi-final.
Danny Dorward, the Chaddy manager, said: “This is brilliant for us as we’ve got this far with almost the same set of lads who have been with us for the past 16 years.”
CHADDY’S silverware aspirations are not only limited to the MCFA Sunday Cup final, as today they were in North-West Champions Cup semi-final action against Cale Green at Abbey Hey FC, (11am).
