King George stake final claim

OLDHAM SUNDAY LEAGUE
LIMESIDE King George blasted their way through to the D & J Builders (North-West) Ltd Oldham Sunday League Premier Division Shield final after a 6-3 win against Red Star.
In the Division One Shield semi-final, Failsworth Athletic saw off Highfield 5-2.
Reece Lyndon bagged a brace, with Niall Sultan, James Turnbull and Levi Morris doing the rest of the damage.
Ryan Fagan was at the double for Rifle Range ‘B’ in the Division Two Shield last-four as his side edged out Westwood 2-1. Moklisur Rahman got Westwood’s consolation goal.
Famous King George ‘B’ are through to the Division Three Shield final following a 3-1 defeat of Abbey.
On the mark were Ashley Robinson, Ryan Hayes and Scott Dunthorne, while James Riding replied for Abbey.
Jack Abbott Premier Division action saw Oddies prevail 3-1 at Fitton Hill thanks to goals from Kieron Holt, Leon Perry and Chris Taylor.
