Wild to face Brown in final

SNOOKER
MOORSIDE’S Michael Wild reached the final of the Manchester Open at Riley’s Snooker Club, Belle Vue, with a 4-0 victory over Warrington’s Phil Tsang which included breaks of 91 and 74.
He will play Wayne Brown in the final later this month after he defeated former Oldhamer Gary Lees 4-3.
Wild was beaten in the quarter-finals of the Paul Hunter English Open in Leeds, going out 5-3 to eventual winner Adam Duffy, of Sheffield.
Wild was undefeated in his group and had 5-1 and 5-2 wins before losing to the champion.
