Diggle book place in final

FOOTBALL: DIGGLE came from two goals down to reach the final of the Huddersfield and district League Barlow Cup following a 4-3 extra-time victory over Shepley.
Kelvin McWatt and Matthew Taylor scored the extra-time goals after earlier efforts from Paul Swallow and Nathan Boote.
Diggle were reinstated into the last four of the competition after quarter-final opponents Newsome had fielded an ineligible player. Full preview on Friday.
