Oldham stars in Test joy

NETBALL:

OLDHAM Netball Club trio Kerry Almond, Laura Malcolm ad Emma Dovey represented England in the Test series against Barbados.

England won all three matches, beating their opponents 71-41 in Birmingham, 53-48 in Bath and 73-32 in Surrey. There were debuts for ex-Hulme Grammar pupil Almond and Malcolm, who lined up alongside Northern Thunder captain Sara Bayman.
