Higgy head for Rhinos

RUGBY:
HIGGINSHAW visit Cadishead Rhinos in a Division Three clash on the opening day of the new North-West Men’s Open Summer League this weekend.
The ‘A’ teams of the borough’s top three amateur sides are also in action on Saturday.
Oldham St Anne’s go to Leyland Warriors in Division Two, while in Division Four Saddleworth Rangers are at home to Accrington Panthers and Waterhead play host to Eccleston Lions.
And Fitton Hill Bulldogs hit the road to Woolston ‘A’ in Division Five.
The Bulldogs wrapped up their winter campaign by being gifted an 18-0 win against Ashton Bears ‘A’, who were unable to raise a team.
AFTER boasting a 100-per-cent record in March with four wins out of four, Waterhead were named team of the month in Division Two of the National Conference League.
