Tough task for Chaddy

FOOTBALL:
CHADDERTON can finish the Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One season in sixth place tomorrow with victory at Atherton Collieries.
Paul Buckley’s men are seventh in the table, one point behind Eccleshall, whom Chadderton are hoping to see slip up.
Tomorrow’s task won’t be easy — their hosts are fourth — but whatever happens, Buckley is proud of his team’s efforts this term.
He said: “It would be fantastic to finish in sixth position, especially as the aim was top 10.”
OLDHAM Boro, 13th in NWCL Division One, go to strugglers Leek CSOB tomorrow.
Tony Mills’ men cannot catch 12th-place Daisy Hill, but can be caught by AFC Darwen, so will be looking to hold on to their current position.
