Calling for entries

BOWLS:

ENTRIES continue to be accepted for this year’s Oldham Evening Chronicle Bowling Handicap.

Heats in the competition on June 1 and 8 will have a start time of 6.45pm, with practice from 6.30pm at each venue.

The four greens being used for heats are North Chadderton Social and Bowling Club, Nimble Nook, Moorside and Stanley Road.

The finals will be held at Royton CC on Saturday, July 7 (6.30pm).

To enter, send your name, address, daytime phone number, a note of your club and team affiliations and choice of date to Bob Nisbet, 22 Severn Road, Hollinwood, Oldham OL8 3RQ with the entry fee of £5. No entry will be acceeepted without the accompanying fee. Make cheques payable to Oldham Evening Chronicle Bowls Handicap.
