Chadderton end season with flourish

CHADDERTON signed off the season with a 3-0 home victory over Atherton Collieries which cemented sixth position in the Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One table.
Joshua Lynch put them in front after seven minutes and Chris Pauley doubled the advantage halfway through the first period.
Lynch struck again in the 66th minute.
Boss Paul Buckley said: "This has been a fantastic season and we have exceeded expectations.”
OLDHAM Boro ended the NWCL Division One campaign in 14th place after losing 3-2 at Leek CSOB.
Ryan Fagan broke the deadlock for the visitors after nine minutes with a powerful header.
Ian Bold (10) and Sean Turner (38) turned the game on its head for Leek before Jerome Bryson fired home an equaliser from 30 yards.
However, Karl Miller struck 20 minutes from the end of the contest.
CURZON Ashton lost 3-0 to Witton Albion in the Evo-Stik League Division One North play-off final at the Tameside Stadium.
