Zafar Jatoi: improvements soon

THREE games, three defeats. For a side with aspirations of finishing in the top four, Oldham’s Lake Garage CLL campaign has so far been something of a damp squib.
But Dr Zafar Jatoi, in his first campaign as Oldham captain, believes it is only a matter of time before his new-look team begins to click.
Oldham were always going to struggle against reigning champions Norden in their first match, but Saturday’s home defeat against Clifton was a disappointment and the following day’s derby defeat at Werneth must have hurt.
Said Jatoi: “One thing in common in all the defeats is that we fought until the last ball. All the games were really close.
“I am confident that in the next few games things will turn out in our favour.
Oldham will be aiming to get off the mark for the season at Monton and Weaste on Saturday.
