DELPH have a busy weekend ahead.
Tomorrow they head to champions Honley in Drakes Huddersfield Premiership, the team who pipped them to the title on the final day of last season.
And Sunday sees Grant Jones’ men travel to Wakefield Thornes for a rescheduled Heavy Woollen Cup first-round meeting.
WOODHOUSES face a tough trip to Bamford Fieldhouse on Sunday in the first round of the LCB Cup.
The hosts’ pro, Grant Hodnett, notched an unbeaten 216 from just 120 balls in the recent 289-run win over Micklehurst in the Versateel Saddleworth and District Cricket League.
Former Lancashire and Surrey star Chris Schofield is also in Bamford’s ranks, meaning Lees Brewery Lancashire County League Division One outfit Woodhouses will have to be on their toes.
But first they must navigate their way past Cheetham Hill in a home league clash tomorrow.
