LIMESIDE edged to a 3-2 win over Rifle Range ‘B’ in the D & J Builders
(North-West) Oldham Sunday League Martin Buckley Division Two Shield final.
Asplin, Evans and Skininski struck for Limeside.
Legends made it through to the David Giblin Division One Shield final after a 3-1 victory against Anglers.
They face Failsworth Athletic in the final on Sunday at Chadderton FC, where Limeside King George take on Coppice United ‘A’ in the Jack Abbott Premier Division Shield final later in the day.
INTER-league action returns after an absence of several years for the Oldham Sunday League on Sunday, May 20 when the Rochdale and District Sunday League provides the opposition at Rochdale Town FC (2pm).
The Oldham Sunday League will be raising money for Dr Kershaw's Hospice.
Oldham Athletic have kindly provided the inter-league team with a playing strip for the eagerly-anticipated fixture. Leon McGuirk, manager of Rifle Range 'A', will manage the representative team, with Sean Kelly as his assistant.
