SUPERB Oldham recorded their best team average — a whopping 86.74 per player — as they defeated Stockport 7-3 in the Lancashire GMC Super Eights Elite League.

Leading the way for the town darts team was Ian Walters, who posted a brilliant three-dart average of 103.66 in a 4-0 success. He also nailed four 180s.

Victory leaves Oldham second in the table behind Rochdale Boro, who beat Lune Valley 7-3 in their most recent fixture.

All eyes will be on the Oldham versus Rochdale clash at Crompton Conservative Club, Queen Street, on Sunday, May 27.

The action starts at 12.30pm; spectators welcome.
