SAME again, please says Glodwick skipper Nigel Stock as his side welcome unbeaten Uppermill in round one of the Tanner Cup tomorrow.

The two teams met at this stage 12 months ago, with the Warren Lane outfit victorious.

It was the first time Glodwick had won a game in the competition since joining in 2007

Buoyed after overseeing two wins from their opening three league fixtures, Stock is hopeful of knocking out Uppermill again.

He said: “I’m really pleased with how we’ve bowled and fielded so far,” said Stock. “The only game we’ve lost was against Greenfield. Even then we bowled them out for 114, so it was disappointing not to get the runs.

Missing for Glodwick this weekend is Mark Whitehead.

Of the other fixtures, holders Bamford Fieldhouse entertain Micklehurst, who conceded 363 runs when the sides met earlier in the month.

Heyside have a tricky home tie against Saddleworth. The hosts have yet to get off the mark this season, while their opponents will be smarting after suffering a first defeat of 2012 against Moorside six days ago.

DELPH battle it out with two unbeaten teams this weekend in Drakes Huddersfield Premiership.

Grant Jones’ men, looking to hit back after suffering a first defeat of the season at Honley, entertain Kirkburton tomorrow before travelling to Golcar 24 hours later.

IN Lees Brewery Lancashire County League Division One, Woodhouses head to high-flying Glossop tomorrow. Sunday sees Mike Cassidy’s side host Stand.
