Avro Reserves
AVRO are reflecting on a trophy-laden season.
The Bridgewater Office Supplies Manchester League outfit lifted the Manchester County FA Challenge Trophy after beating East Manchester 1-0 in the final.
James Hampson scored the winner for Phil Brown’s side.
The reserves, run by Liam Grady, did the double by claiming the Manchester Amateur Cup and Open Trophy.
And the future looks bright following the under-15s’ success. Under the stewardship of Dave Moxon and Rob Fuller, they got their hands on the County Cup for the third time in four seasons.
Moxon said: “It was a memorable season for the club, with so much silverware coming our way.
“The staff and players put in tremendous effort and we are delighted.”
