STEVEN Howard is sure his Saddleworth side are ready to turn the corner.
Four defeats on the spin, divided equally between league and cup, has undone the good work of a win double on the opening weekend.
Howard reckons it is too early to write off his charges.
“Anything less than a top three finish, in my eyes, will be seen as a failure,” said the Well-i-Hole skipper, who is preparing for the visit of Greenfield tomorrow in the traditional Whit Friday derby tussle (1.45pm start).
“Maybe it’s a confidence thing. We need a win to get us going again and hopefully it will come against Greenfield.”
Former Stayley player Lou Adair has signed for Saddleworth, and he made his first appearance at Uppermill, another of his former clubs.
