RUGBY: WATERHEAD put their unbeaten home record on the line tomorrow against National Conference League Division Two high-flyers East Leeds (kick-off 2.30pm).
The visitors to Peach Road boast nine wins out of 10 and sit two points clear of Dewsbury Celtic.
Waterhead are pushing for promotion in fifth place, and joint coach Paul Geener is predicting their sternest examination of the season so far.
And with Michael Diveney, Alan Williamson, Matthew Baron and Patrick Toft unavailable, and a big doubt hanging over Josh Brown (13 stitches in a cut lip), they appear to be up against it before the start.
With both Saddleworth Rangers and Oldham St Anne’s away from home, Waterhead are expecting a big crowd.
RANGERS are desperate for a pick-me-up after succumbing 68-4 at Myton Warriors.
Bottom of the Premier Division with four points from 11 matches played, Emerson Jackman’s men go to mid-table West Hull.
The same can be said of ST ANNE’S, who visit Stanley Rangers in Division One. A win for Chris Deakin’s side would lift them above their hosts, who are two places and one point better off.
