STUART HOLDEN: superb average.
DARTS:
OLDHAM had to settle for third place in the table, despite capping their Lancashire GMC Elite Super Eights season with a 7-3 win at Bury.
The title dream was still alive going into the game, but leaders Rochdale Boro stayed at the summit and Burnley held on to second.
Oldham ended up four points adrift of the top, one away from second.
The highlight of the win at Bury was Stuart Holden’s 4-2 defeat of Lancashire legend Paul Whitworth.
Holden averaged 99.42 every three darts, with Whitworth averaging 94.14.
