Fingers crossed for semi-final clash

CRICKET:
HEYSIDE and Bamford Fieldhouse are on a last-four collision course in the LCB Cup.
Both teams are through to the quarter-finals. Heyside overcame Netherfield and Bamford were handed a bye after opponents Todmorden forfeited the last-16 tie because an already packed fixture schedule.
Heyside are at home to Elton (North Manchester League) or Ormskirk (Liverpool Competition), while Bamford go to Whalley (Ribblesdale League) or Leyland (Northern League) on dates to be arranged.
And victory for both Saddleworth League teams will set up a semi-final date.
BAMFORD Fieldhouse are away to Bolton League outfit Farnworth in the group final of the National Knock-out Cup on Sunday (1pm).
