Rangers bag derby spoils

RUGBY:

SADDLEWORTH Rangers ‘A’ secured local bragging rights in the Domino’s Pizza North-West Men’s League Division Four clash against their Waterhead counterparts. Rangers ran out 16-10 winners.

It was Rangers’ first victory of the season and lifted them off the bottom of the table.

In Division Two, Oldham St Anne’s ‘A’ put in a great show before eventually succumbing 26-24 at home to title

Fitton Hill Bulldogs also gave a good account of themselves in a 24-12 defeat at Hindley ‘A’ in Division Five.
