GLODWICK Cricket Club are hitting the road to raise funds.
Members are planning to walk, run and bike to all 14 Saddleworth and District Cricket League grounds on Sunday, July 1.
Setting off from separate starting points, six teams will head to different destinations.
The plan is for the 50-strong contingent to return to Glodwick’s ground at 5pm for a barbecue and party.
Money raised will help to upgrade the pitch and join plans to raise money to increase the size of the pavilion, open a new practice facility and complete ground development
