AFTER victory over leaders Uppermill in the Versasteel Saddleworth and District Cricket League, it was important for Shaw to follow up at home to Glodwick on Saturday.
They did so, albeit by another narrow margin, just eight runs
Despite Friday’s downpour, a big mopping up operation meant only nine overs per side were lost. Matches at Droylsden, Friarmere, Heyside and Stayley weren’t so lucky.
