LANCASHIRE star Kyle Hogg is in the Delph squad for tomorrow’s Drakes Huddersfield Premiership trip to Scholes.
The all-rounder, from Greenfield, makes his first appearance of the season for Delph and will hope to help Grant Jones’ side get the better of their fifth-placed opponents.
But they will have to do without Jones for a few weeks — he injured a calf muscle against Hoylandswaine last time out.
Delph currently occupy eighth position in the table, nine points behind Scholes.
Hogg is also involved in Sunday’s mouth-watering home clash with Wrenthorpe in the Heavy Woollen Cup quarter-finals. The Central Yorkshire League outfit won the competition from 2007 until 2010.
WOODHOUSES face a tough test tomorrow when they go to Denton in Lees Brewery Lancashire County League Division One. Denton have made a fine start to the campaign and sit in fourth place, 14 points clear of Mike Cassidy’s side.
