CRICKET: AUSTERLANDS booked a place in round two of the Saddleworth and District Cricket League’s Twenty20 Cup after a last-ball win against Greenfield at Nursery Fields.
Adam Hayes top scored with 47 as the visitors were dismissed for 143 in 18.5 overs. There were 29 extras.
Seamer Steve Broadbent claimed three for 11 from his three overs.
Adam Sunderland and Gary Cave, with 43 apiece, and skipper Adam Young (30) made vital contributions in Austerlands’ reply.
