FROM top-five hopefuls to serious title challengers; Hollinwood are up to second place behind Uppermill in the Saddleworth and District Cricket League after sweeping aside lowly Micklehurst by seven wickets.
Left-arm quick bowler Aslean Dar claimed five for 15 as the visitors to Lime Lane crashed to a meagre 69 all out.
Bamford Fieldhouse's nine-wicket mauling of Heyside lifted them above Greenfield into third place, while Saddleworth slipped to fifth after they suffered a surprise three-wicket loss at home to Droylsden.
Requiring 135 for victory, Saif Ur Rehman helped the Oakfield outfit on their way by making a vital 58.
Austerlands secured only their second league win of the season - they had previously tasted success on May 6 - with a four-wicket victory over Stayley at Nursery Fields.
Friarmere fared even worse, making just 54, in reply to Moorside's 227 for five.
There was no play between Glodwick and Shaw as Warren Lane was saturated.
