Rangers get their points

RUGBY:
THE wait is finally over for Saddleworth Rangers ‘A’, who clocked up their first win of the North-West Men’s League campaign by seeing off neighbours Waterhead ‘A’ 34-22.
Their morale-boosting home triumph was not enough to lift them off the bottom of the Division Four table, but Rangers have two points — as do nearest side, Folly Lane ‘A’.
For mid-table Waterhead it was a surprise defeat and they will look to quickly bounce back.
In Division Two, basement boys Oldham St Anne’s are still searching for their first victory after a 24-6 home reverse at the hands of Haresfinch.
